Postdoctoral (PD) and graduate student positions are available in the Angstrom group let by Prof. Giulia Galli, at the University of California, Davis (http://angstrom.ucdavis.edu/). The group activity is focused on the development and application of electronic structure and quantum simulation methods to the study of materials and nanostructures.
PD candidates should have a PhD in Physics, Chemistry or Materials Science; a strong computational background in electronic structure and first principles simulations is preferred.
